I love LIDL (and ALDI) It's like being on holiday in some grim continental town and the best amusement is going to the local supermarket and looking at the gherkins and the dark chocolate. They also do good cheap wine FIL found a range of £3.49 per bottle reds recommended by Decanter magazine.

I can haz a LIDL own labled Bluetooth handsfree stereo for everyday use in da BX and it is GR9!...new in itz box for twenty quid on the tree....called a Silverlight and pleasingly bereft of flashing omg powah lights etc....

Since they banned multiby booze in Scotland half decent bottles of wine which were six quid plus are now 3.33 in Asda! It's like being in 1993 again!
