I had a 3 door SEi RDZ 8797. Brand new, worst car I have ever owned, it was awful. Looked good while it was sat broken down, though. Typical Rover of the time, the specs were all over the place. Mine had different wheels, no sunroof and no wood in the dash. Some had wheeltrims and boot spoilers. My steering wheel was a turbo-spec item.

Never really noticed a 3-door R8 200 SEi model before (Probably because there are loads of R8 200s around here) I've probably seen some, I've certainly seen the 5-door models. Were they some sort of high-spec, small-engined Rover 200 or something? They seem to be quite popular.

They were a run out special. I got mine on 20th August 1994 for the princely sum of £11,055, which was actually a fair old chink of change back then. 1400 K16 "high power" 103BHP. Half leathers, alloys in the style of the 820 Vitesse Turbo, pearlescent paint. It actually went well. That was when it wasn't FUCKED, which it frequently was. The back seat burst the day I got it when my tiny little sister got in the car.
