If they stick out too far, MOT fail, plus you will bugger up your steering a treat with fat rubber on a 'breadbin'. Just my ten pen'orth

not massivly wide about a 7inch wheel sort of mini spec

You also have to be careful of them fouling on full lock. Swmbo's old Clio had chavwheels on, and they fouled big time on full lock, plus buggered the track rod ends and rack
