You do see some seriously shagged motors in the Czech Republic

 

After a very enjoyable, expensive and non-stag gentlemans weeked away in Prague a couple of years ago, the taxi ordered by the hotel which greeted us on departure was a Ford Granada of around 1988 vintage. There was more rust visible than metallic blue paint, and the rear suspension had collapsed like the Greek economy. After the car had been loaded with three sets of luggage and three 6'3 and over large chaps I opened the back door to find the road about 5mm below the sill. It then proceded to make the most horrendous scraping and grinding noises all the way to the airport.

 

Sadly I was too hungerover to consider even trying to find my phone to take a photo.......

I was gutted when my favourite 'private hire' company in Prague (speedcars.cz) turned into a proper taxi service, as the random shite they had (164s, ancient 3-series, Fiat Bravos) was quickly phased out in favour of brand-new Octavias, Roomsters and the occasional E-Class. Although they did once send me a C5 estate, so I guess they retain a shite element, albeit a modern one.
