The car below has sold now, no need for anybody to view it any more. I'm not sure where to post this, so I'm starting a new thread. I've seen a (potentially) lovely Subaru Legacy for sale, going by the area code and the distance from my postcode, it's in North Ayrshire, Ardrossan to be specific. The ad is short, and only has 2 photos. However, it's £600 with 4 recent tyres and a year old cambelt. Short MOT but the MOT history is clean. Decent mileage too, at only 105k. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201708108232641 Is anybody nearby able to take a quick gander at it? I've not even contacted the seller or anything yet. Beer tokens available. I don't want anybody to go massively out of their way, or anything, but a wee look at it would be appreciated. Thanks! Side note: My parents have a 2005 Legacy Outback (so it's the next generation from this one) and it's a lovely drive. I've also test driven a Legacy of the same generation as this one in Ayrshire before. I didn't buy that one because it was scabby as fuck and waaay overpriced. However, I do have a thing for them. They're not kick-in-the-back fast, but lovely and smooth. I reckon I'd quite like to own one. Insurance on them seems about the same as the Xantia is right now, so no bother there. Also, pre-2001 tax means it'll be the same as the Xantia too!
