[Formula Autos]

I recently stumbled upon a podcast called Car Talk on I-Tunes and thought I'd give my fellow 'shiters a heads-up.

 

It's hosted by Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers - who come across as a pair of wise-ass, self deprecating, Boston mechanics. They seem genuinely clued up about cars, and it's not too bad a listen - particularly as they seem to take great delight in subverting the set-up they've been given for their show (such as accidentally letting slip, on an almost constant basis, that they're actually called Tom and Ray). What would normally be the advert slots when the show's broadcast are replaced by car themed songs (usually in the two most popular U.S. music genres: country AND western).

 

The crucial thing about all this though is that their listeners (who call in for advice on matters mechanical) seem to be, in the main, a bunch of U.S. 'shiters. They all seem to run around in heaps of crap that make puzzling noises or won't start.
