This what the DVLA have for L331THT:

 

Funny, last time I was there, there was a black Rover 800 Sterling! I was desperately searching for something to drive back to Belfast in and had the Laguna not appeared, it probably would have been this.

 

So L331 THT is possibly lying up somewhere. That car was excellent in every way apart from the auto box. I remember it would randomly drop into second gear while driving along the M6. Pretty terrifying.

I guess there is always something interesting when I'm not there, last time I went there was a Red Rover 820i fastback that I dont think sold, kind of wish I'd lobbed a bid on it, but then again I didnt have money.

 

I'd say the Mondeo in question was probably taken to a scrapyard, alot of yards didnt dispose of cars properly until recently.

 

Back on topic - I popped into Cradley Heath, the amount of shite I saw was breath taking, I saw an early 80s Audi 80 or 100 (Couldnt immidiately tell) done up quite well, a Brown Triumph Acclaim, an early 80s Metro etc.......

 

Heading there tomrrow (to hopefully pick up my Sterling) so I'll try and do a bit of spotting and snapping.
