148k on the clock which IMHO is genuine. Runs sweet as a nut.

Mot till April 2012

Taxed till 31st June 2012 which you can have at cost. (about £20 a month)

Lowered on GTI struts with OMG chopped springs. New wheel bearings all round and new lower arms. Custom London spec ariel with jvc head unit and nice looking though poo sounding Fusion door speakers. Good newish battery and a few spare bits too boot.

The good

1.9D oil burner runs sweet and sips the juice for added cheapness.

Tow bar (only used it a hand full of times for the dirt bike)

Fair bit of history (I'll have a dig through)

Oil/filter changed regular

Only one pink panel (that rear door) comes good with elbow grease, I may attack it tomorrow as it could do with a wash for better pics.*edit, now red and shining though that door needs a bit more elbow grease if your fussy.

Been a reliable workhorse for us for many years, cheap to run and not as slow as you may think.

The bad (it ain't scrap price for nothing)

Fuel filter blocked with nugget! Ran a badly filtered batch and blocked the new filter up. Bring a filter and drive it home though the tank may need a little slush through to be safe.*flushed it through today and will get a new filter on so this is sorted, runs fine now :)

Exhaust blows a tad, no performance loss and only slightly audible. Personally I wouldn't worry till the mot runs out, on the plus side you can have a laugh at my drunken late night welding which got the zorst through it's last test ;D

Few scabs and my learning on the job panel repair on the front wing.

Clutch a little noisy, pump the pedal for quietness. It's been like that for a few years now and hasn't got worse or better :)

Brakes - work good though abs kicks in just before you come to a halt when you are using just a little pedal. Can't be much wrong and can be driven around anyhow or maybe just disconnected if you like. There is a very slight leak form the bias jobbie on the rear beam. I am truly ashamed to say I have been topping the fluid for a year and a half even though I have the new part( £50 from GSF) in the garage. You can have that for free in the deal.

That's about it. Thought I'd offer it up here to give it chance of a new life before I break it up and get all James Brown on it's 2005o2q.jpg

270 gets you the car on 13 inch OE steels sans tax. A extra 80 sovs gets you rolling on pimp 15 inch alloys and as said tax is available at cost.

Photos after some bucket love today.
