The Moog Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Looks like the bit I need for the saab is going to be very hard to find or £££. The fuel pump method was only used for a couple of years on 900 and then changed to the system that lasts 15 years. It is 9319955 What I have found is that some people have bodged it by using a piece of hose and a filter on the end. Obviously the hose will be submerged in fuel so will need to be resistant to that and also needs to end up a wide bore to ensure that it picks up enough fuel. The current set up has a massive fuel pickup to minimise starvation. Any idea of where to get the bits from? and how to do it?
kevin 900 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Have you tried this fella?; http://www.hagstromsaab.co.uk/ He's a little eccentric (and can be hard to get hold of), but has shedloads of parts stashed away! Good luck. Kev
The Moog Posted July 22, 2011 Author Posted July 22, 2011 Against all odds getting one shipped from Sweden. Even Dealer was surprised they stocked it. £30 so not too bad
