Garage defender

Can anyone give me any advise about thes garage defenders,any better ones to go for or is it not a good idea as it causes scumbags to think what is being so well guarded?

Not had any trouble with the Safranes garage but a couple of garages in the black have these,most don,t though

Generally tea-leaves get into up & over garage doors by peeling back the corners, then they can get inside and take their time to open it. A ground bolt wouldn't help too much I reckon

Your best defence could be purchasing a 'reliant owners club' sticker (or some othe manufacturer which doesn't inspire youth) and putting it on the outside of the garage door.

 

 

(PS, I quite like some of them but it's not me you're trying to put off).

I reckon the only one really worth it would be the post type which drop into the floor. This obviously wouldnt stop scrotes getting in but should help stop them driving off in your beloved motor.

 

The one linked above I would fancy my chances with in about 2 mins with a crowbar
