Unlike all the messages which you have just posted which are fantastic.

Someone (B01 I think) complained about forty shit threads before finding one decent one and you have helped by trying to be cocky and posting up more shit. Whether you like it or not Scooters posted some bloody interesting threads which were well worth reading. Yeah, he posted some that you thought weren't suitable, fair enough.

How the merry hell you think you're helping by shutting the gate after the horse has bolted I honestly don't know. You mentioned e-bullying in one of your messages just now but in some respects that's what you are doing now. You've seen off a decent lad who put a lot of effort into the majority of his threads and now you're flexing your e-muscles and dancing on his grave so to speak.

I'm sure you're very proud of yourself and feel all clever about it, award yourself a pat on the back and a virtual pint on me.

 

Of course the real shame in all of this is that Scooters was a decent lad with lots of decent things to tell us about, and you are too. There's no point in denying you entertain people with threads, posts and wit (you excel at all three) but for the love of God please stop raking over the coals and doing what you rail about others doing-posting crap.

We're (pretty much) all guilty of not making every single post about a car but the odd bit of banter makes this place a little nicer imho. The best way for AS to flourish is to keep it's stance on posting about shite motors but also for some mirth here and there and equally as importantly attracting new members.

I can see why new members might think this place has some rubbish and drivel (though a clear up of threads would see that) but can you see why new members would think it's got it's fair share of people who seem to sit in the wings waiting, just waiting, for someone to say something not about cars then go wading in.

 

PLEASE can we all make this shit stop now? If people think about what thread is the most appropriate and people think before wading in and maybe sent pm's instead this place would be great again.
