steve austin Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I use my old ADO16 every day for work and she never lets me down rain or shine (although in the rain there is a nice footbath in the passenger floorwell!) and I always take the long route to work, no radio, just the tappy old A series and whining box, LOVE IT!!!!
dollywobbler Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I'm actually suffering slightly from the fact that my commute now involves a careful circumnavigation of the fridge, watch out for clueless cats walking out in front of you and BAM. I'm in the office. To go to that from a 50 mile daily hoon in whatever old tin I had around at the time has been hard. Nipped out to get some pics of the Land Rover this afternoon and was gone for over an hour! Drove so far that I've had to put more bloody petrol in the thing. Yes, I can just go out for a drive when I feel like it, but I miss lowering the tone in the work car park.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I do 104 miles every weekday in my Rover and i still proper love driving it. I cant think of anything i'd swap it for!!! I've got that Xsara HDI sitting doing nowt but i'd rather drive the 220 and pay the extra £70-80/month in fuel for the privilege. Its blebbing up a bit now though having been used all winter and washed twice.
