My father was stationed at HMS Sheba for a time in the 1960s, during the Aden Conflict. He recalls that by that by then, Aden was a 'toilet'...

My uncle was living in Aden when it all kicked off. He had a way of attracting trouble, he survived a terrorist attack on an oil tanker when he was 18 and he settled in the Falklands in the late 70s.
