Alls you had to do with your old ford badges was take them off and with a fine grade wet and dry sand the colour off the back you didnt have to worry about the silver detail around the oval and the letter as this was in a groove below the surface. then repaint them your desired colour, simples

Yep, still have a sparkly red one done with clear PVA glue and glitter, then sprayed red.

It looks utter cat wank, Im sure I didnt think so at the time.
