I'd have almost everything again, but for some reason don't lie in bed awake at night wishing I hadn't sold any of them. My secret? Sell a car when you really, really like it. Ask top dollar and don't give a toss if it sells or not. It's like leaving a party before it fizzles out, you just have very good memories of it all. I've had so many cars (must be over 200 over 25 years) that each one takes me back to a time and place.

Trying to sell a car when you're fed up with it means you end up hating the bastard thing.

An '82 Y plate 525i E28. It was a doom blue manual with strato-mileage but it was my first and I loved it.

 

My Y plate RS1600i. My first proper car after all the Mini / Mark 2 Escort shit (including a Mexico). It was only 5 years old.
