BMW sucks

A friend of mine has an auto 520d company hack and he gets less than 40 on average

the five series is a big car and with an auto transmission he is doing well if he gets over 35mpg BMW or not

They suffer from some seriously iffy build issues. I have had one. A wonderful beast. But by christ was it was a wreck after only 20,000 miles and a few years use. Switchgear that would literally fall apart in your hands, a leaky roof, awful electrical problems, panel gaps visable from space, exploding engine syndrome. The list is endless.

 

And before anyone comes out with it, I am a big BL Apologist. But I can't stick up for the TF's build quality. And it only got worse as the now infamous PROJECT DRIVE kicked in.

 

A tragedy for such a wonderful car to end up in such a state. But then it was all downhill after the demise of Hydragas.
