Stoke Car Show Thing 27-6-10

At around 10.30 this morning, I was bored.

At 10.33, I read a friend's facebook status that said he was going to the Stoke Car Show organised by Oddball Imports.

At 10.38 I was in the car, on the way.

 

Here are some pictures for you. It was quite a nice little show, lovely weather, nice owners. Wouldn't have travelled the length of the country for it but I was quite happy to have driven for an hour or so.

 

Daily bug was usable but had a fairly beefy engine.

 

A few nnnngggggg bits on this SD1 but overal very clean and tidy

 

Capri Club entries ranged from slighty scruffy...

 

...to this 280, which went right onto my Want list

 

Ragtop Bug was full of balloons for a charity event.... quite heavy balloons it seems!

 

This was super-clean if a little blingy under the bonnet. I still would though!

A very relaxed affair

 

Princess was GORGEOUS. Dinged and scratched, shopping on the back seat, a proper daily driver. Interior was the brownest velour I've ever seen.

 

Sometimes I feel arty...

 

Subaru Club were the best represented there and helped out with the fundraising too.
