Whoa! A grand for something with no T&T!! It looks OK but obviously needs wings or some work on the ones it's got. Also I am a bit concerned about the bit about the seat belts. Mk2s didn't have them fitted from new, so unless somebody fitted mounting points it would probably be better off without them. Were you going to make an offer on it?

Wasn't there a requirement for seatbelts after the M42 crash/fire a few years back ? Seem to remember doing a lot of retrofits then.

Seat belts are a requirement for all minibuses in 1997, a law that was brought in retrospectively and condemned a lot of minibuses cos people didn't understand they could either change the seats, or take em out all together and run it as a van. Mk2 were never made with seat belts, so if they are not fitted attached to the seats they need the mounting plates in the floor. Our crew bus had a Mk1 interior fitted and seat belts just bolted through the floor with coach bolts how they got it through the test I have no idea. It's now got period side facing bench seats that are not (yet) subject to the MOT or seat belt laws.
