Anyone recognise the reg HRK 1 ?

Hello all,I wonder if anyone has ever seen or knows to a red XJ6 with the reg number HRK 1 as have just received a heritage certificate for my 1969 XJ6 and have found out that its original reg was HRK 1 and was supplied by P J Evans of birmingham, i have checked and that reg is now on a 1995 red XJ6 that according to DVLA is still taxed, i would very much like to find the owner of the car/reg to see if they have any knowledge of my car in the hope of trying to retrace its istory, i have obtained previous keeper history from DVLA but unfortunately it only goes back as far as 1979 so i have a ten year gap to fill from first date of reg (1969).Any information would be much appreciatedRegardsPaul.

PaulYou can get information from the DVLA regarding the current owner of the registration, by using form V888 and paying £2.50 but you have to have a good reason, I think it is possible that if you explain on the form your reason for requesting that information, I can see no reason why they should not let you have the name and address of the owner.This form can be down loaded from the DVLA web siteBest of luck with your search

You need to have a good reason. we requested once where a customer left without paying for an MOT, we gave them the car details and MOT number so they could check with VOSA that we had done the MOT, yet they refused to give the details until we could provide an invoice.
