207SW nonsense

Greetings, fellow shiter has an issue with his 207SW. Complains of a knocking noise when going from lock to lock. He's had a look under the bonnet (full credit to him, as he's a carpenter by trade) and spotted this wonky strut top.

I've no idea why he took the photo through a shark's mouth either. 

I'm inclined to think this needs a strut top mount and bearing, what do you goons reckon? Possibly with a new spring thrown in because, well, Peueootgeot.
