just wondered who owns a blog, motoring based??

i'm soo unsure about mine being wiki based i'm thinking of going to wordpress instead..

i've built this as a winter plaything..

just wondered about the good/bad's of blogging my finds rather than the norm website :)

(the idea is to backtrack all my find as i found them (as well as the make/model thing))

Blogs are the best way to get online these days, long gone are the days of yahoo/geocities pages. Very easy to set up, even the most basic ones look good. Ratdat has an excellent blog, Retro Scene (Retro rides) is always worth checking too. I tend to search for design blogs - people do the searching for good photographs and designs, and all you have to do is get inspired. I have one, but I haven't updated it for ages - no other reason other than laziness really. I don't think it gets much traffic but it allows me to get things out of my system.

Wordpress certainly makes updating your site a lot easier. The only pain in the arse with it is having to upgrade it and do backups but it's still not too bad.

i'll link that too ta :) yes found it very easy transfering stuff over (as i'd done the hard work organising it all anyway), just a little coding, skinning was a doddle too :D
