Type 3 for sale

Well, it's gotta go. For a number of reasons, mostly money-shaped but I've convinced myself someone more talented could make this a very nice car.1973 VW Type 3 Fastback.Stripped interior (very stripped - no seats!)Fibreglass flipfrontPart-lairy motor. 1600cc officially but goes like more. Twin Dellortos.No rust to body or chassis/channels.Electrics recently sorted.Finished in red oxideLast MoT work in 2005ish was full brake rebuild with 1303 parts, new exhaust, welding, fuel lines... came to £1000ish.Got a lot of potential and really just needs DIY stuff to finish - a subframe for the included 944 seat and recomissioning of brakes etc. Been stood since 2005 but started/moved regularly.£800, offers considered. Sounds a lot for an unfinished car but the major stuff for track/stripwork has been done, a few weekends with someone motivated at the helm would see this bringing smiles to your face. I'd imagine a flipfront alone is £300, and fitting them isn't an afternoons work....The only pictures I've got are from yonks ago, but I've been asked for more so I'll add some to the post on Sunday when I go over to visit it.
