Hmm, it probably says more about my view of the standard of average driving than me suggesting this person is an IAM candidate.

When Street Racing became an issue in Malta, the government stepped in and Hal-Far Raceway was formed using the old air field, for a couple of Euro's you can run your car all night without the danger of spearing into the crowds gathered at the track side, as they're behind a concrete barrier.

I have a dim recollection of a race track in France somewhere that was built because the local authorities got pissed of with young and impressionable types wiping themselves out in car accidents. I cannot for the life of me remember the name but I'm sure it was names after the girl who was the straw that broke the camel's back.
