Loving the old signage - France has a lot of that stuff.I'm hopefully going to make la grande voyage to see my uncle and his French bird in the not too distant future. They live in Alencon, which is in Normandie. Quite a bit from you VWP! That said, I quite fancy blasting the Jag along la Cote d'Azur (it looked good in Porsche Unleashed).All being well it should yield some good spots!
