Today I received some old family photos. These two were my maternal grandfathers delivery vehicles.

 

1919 a bit pre autoshite. Beale Bros.Grocers

And by 1961 things had changed and Ford was a common name

Urewera Supply Stores Ltd. of Te Whaiti (a real back country village)

I do not remember this Ford but do remember the Bradford that was kept in the shed seen over the bonnet. The managers house behind was also the post office and manual telephone exchange . Exchange hours 7am to 6pm.

And to get to work in 1936, a 34 Plymouth
