Those old Vectras are pretty rare now aren’t they. I saw a nice ‘SRi 140’ version in black on FB the other day for £250, was half tempted! By a Vectra FFS! They must be coming into the field scanned by my shite radar.

 I had it looked at in May this year and spent £650 on getting it back on the road but came back with no interior or external electrics which amazes me as it came back with a MOT..drove it back in daylight so didn't notice.. garage was suppose to collect but never did.... has an mot until May but now won't run so selling as a doner car or parts, had a new sump fitted as I smashed it on a road hump as it has a lowered front suspension, full leather interior, good hood, tried turning it over but although it has been on a maintenance charger refuses to start. Sorry to let her go as she has been so much fun :-(

is this a proper factory effort, or has someone just decided to make thier ownby grafting the back of something else (Fiat Uno?) onto a 205?

They were semi-sanctioned box conversions by Gruau; and they obviously sold well as you couldn't move in France in the late 'Eighties \ early 'Nineties without seeing one.

I bought this car off a chap on ebay who had started to break it,
and intended to restore it as its a fairly straightforward job.

It needs:

Offside front wing

front bumper & exterior door trims

interior seats and door cards

Centre console and speedo

Rear lights & rear badges

Rear exhaust silencer

 

 

GLWTS etc etc
