How to ship bumpers / valances

I need to get a bumper for the Sierra from Stixy in Lincolnshire up to the North East. Who would you learned people recommend?

From where to where? How big is bumper?

All I know so far is Stixy is in Lincolnshire somewhere (I think) and I'm in Washington. Bumper is, er, Sierra sized. CarPartCouriers will send a bumper up to 3 meters anywhere in the UK for £22.95+VAT. If I can get cheaper than that it would be a nice bonus.

It is probably worth paying more to have it delivered by hand than getting thrown about in the back of various vans. Yes the courier will cough up if he damages it but that is no help if it is a really hard to find part. I sold a windscreen for a Fregate a few years ago and despite telling them not to use a courier they did and got a big pile of bubblewrap and a load of small bits of glass. Considering it was probably the only spare screen in the country if it had been me I would of driven the 250 miles to pick it up myself as at least you know you will get it in one piece.
