S type 3 litre is it a real shite motor.

Hand on heart it's one of the best cars I've driven, box is silky smooth, 3 litre V6 is plenty powerful enough, sounds great also. only downside is the MPG's, getting 15 knocking about but did Worcester and back yesterday, only from Dudley, but averaged a thoroughly decent 30 MPG and this was doing a steady 70+ MPH. 

 

Mine is going for it's MOT Monday, I don't think it'll have any issues, honestly for a car that is nearly 19 years old I'm thoroughly impressed with it overall. The quality really does shine, I'd go as far and say that It's better put together & nicer materials than the current XE / XF range.

My mate dropped the car off tonight and I really didn’t realise how nice it is as it’s a two owner motor and it’s even got the nickname of lettuce due to the registration.

The old girl won’t be getting any use till next month but my dad will be out first thing tomorrow with the handbook playing with the toys as it’s got more than most but what I love about it is the noise from the twin exhaust pipes as it sounds amazing.

I wish I bought it for myself now.
