We attended the Americana Show on Sunday, and had a superb day. Took MANY pics and, to be fair, none of it was what you'd call autoshite, but for those of you who share my love of US tin, here's some of the pics., and I'll let them speak for themselves- they're all lovely motors! In no particular order, and not sure I'll get them all posted before I have to go to work

well....... they're ALMOST all lovely motors! Hate the whole idea of "rat-look," especially when applied to a genuine '29 model A!

I REALLY wanted to go to this, but didn't fancy the 600 mile round trip.

I did make it as far as the gate but as it was FIFTY QUID for me and the missus to have a look round for the day I didn't bother.

Nice pic’s! Much in the way of early ‘70s barges there? They’re my favourites.

I have a slight problem with these rods, don’t know why.

Probably the lack of imagination.

If it had been just a car show, there's no way I'd have paid the entry fee, but there were 5 stages of live music too, some of it very good indeed, plus a vast selection of trade stands. Still pretty expensive, but worth it, on balance, I think.

Only a relatively few to be honest, the '50s really do rule with this particular crowd, with the preceding 2 decades close behind. '60s and '70s much less well represented, except by 'Vettes, 'Stangs, Camaros etc. Anyway, hope to get some more pics up tonight.
