The boss is generally not a fan of BMWs, especially older ones as where she grew up they were usually driven by the local thugs.

Don't get me wrong if I bought something properly classic or properly modern she would be fairly keen but nothing in between.

 

She also isn't keen on Imprezas because chav association. Does like a legacy though.

 

She's fond of MX5s too but for daily duties likes cars that don't stick out. Probably a good attitude!

I'd always seen Imprezas as the drug dealers car of choice. Certainly used to see many of them four up during the day which always struck me as odd. Oh and speaking of such things, there's a 2017 911 Turbo S and 2016 X5 5.0d just round the corner from me. In theory no big deal, other than the 911 is worth two of any of the houses it in the street it sits. I'm busting to know why it's there.

To keep this on topic, the wife gets a little annoyed when I buy things that don't have a great deal of room given we've two young kids. So there's the occasional noises made about the CLK and how something bigger, like a Range Rover, would be nice. I'm sure it would dear.
