DEAD IGNITION

As I've not had time today I'll get on with it tomorrow and won't put the copper on.

 

I am putting some washers on, I'll just have to find some first but I'm sure there's some old ones knocking about.

 

I have a multimeter. No idea at all how to use it. I've looked how to and still I don't get it. It's just one of those things that won't stick for me.

I always thought Vaseline was the thing for battery connections? Still the case or is there an acknowledged superior alternative these days?

 

Yes indeed - Vaseline otherwise known as Petroleum Jelly applied to clean terminals prevents corrosion.
