My old man rented a van to shift some stuff from S.Wales to Somerset, got to the Severn Crossing and it suffered a catastrophic failure of the turbo, he said it was down to walking pace, clag billowing out. Before he’d even set off the dash looked like Blackpool sea front in October.

 

I’ve had it myself, hired a 9 year old Transit Luton to move house, 350,000 it had on the odometer, the fucker wouldn’t stop in 3rd gear, jumping out all the time. Much more fun than going to Enterprise.

205 van is an interesting choice. Eifion, an occasional poster on here has/had one of those that was briefly a courtesy car, it was at Chumley.

 

I still have it and happily commute to work and back in it every day, although I'm looking at getting a four-seater 205 to keep it company.
