This is one of the reasons I don't keep my bikes very clean, if all the panels/engine cases etc look fooked then they aren't work nicking as the parts won't sell.

GPS trackers not a bad idea for everyday motors for peace of mind.

If you've got a MK1 Mexico sat outside your block of flats though, I can guarantee whoever turns up to nick it will have a twenty quid GSM blocker in the cab of their Transit beavertail.
