I did it with what would loosely be termed a 'classic' - it was a rotbox Trump (I still have) and a mate agreed a couple of hundred each on a 'bay purchase back in blighty. I rocked up over there and drove back....... over 400miles

All great - singular motor that had a lot of locals asking to buy - leaving numbers etc... and it was a reliable old beige barge.

The only change was my mates wife deciding she wanted to return to southern France - so I bought him out. By then I'd fallen for the old shitbox so kept it and started a rebuild (more money than sense type thing).

 

As long as you keep the communication up and clear - for that amount - it's a no brainer really........ just jump in.
