Maplin or RS? Alternatively you could use a "grain of wheat" bulb from a model shop, but they have trailing wires.

Another possibility is to take some from another stereo, you'd need to be pretty handy with the soldering iron though.

Sacrifice an old Scalextric car. can work.

Are they solder-through or surface mounted? If they're solder-through then normally you'd use the 'grain of wheat' type bulb, totally remove the old one leaving the holes through the board, solder the new one in and trim the leads off.Surface mount is tricker, luckily bulbs (as opposed to LEDs) aren't fussy about polarity, and withstand more soldering heat. I had to do some surface mount LEDs on a laptop motherboard last week, they're about 1/4 the size of a grain of rice and made my eyes go funny even with a magnifier. And then the fuggers were the wrong colour. So if you sent your laptop for repair and got it back with an orange power light where it used to be blue, sorry but tough :)Maplin are good but the staff these days can rarely be arsed to trail through the catalogue to find stuff like that. Not like when I worked there, I'd spend an hour searching for pages and pages of components copied out of a 1970's electronic projects book, total retail price a couple of quid.
