Part of the appeal of 'shite-ing' to me is driving a vehicle that, when new, could have cost £££££, yet thanks to depreciation & Mr & Mrs Jones, us lowly folk are able to enjoy for a fraction of their new cost. For example the original invoice for my Rover 75 was £22,745.01 - the car cost me £850. The car in question has not deteriorated to being one 26.76th of its original quality - therefore I'm a winnar.
