Beaulieu motor museum

The weather on Saturday when I went was overcast but OK (Sunday was probably even better, it was where I live - 20 miles north of Beaulieu) aside from a ten minute shower at lunchtime and the place was busy but not packed.

I actually prefer a wet Beaulieu for this reason.   Dog-walkers, wives and disinterested children tend not to bother and therefore don't get in the bloody way!

I've been twice and there were many years between the two visits.

Nothing much seemed to change and it wasn't interesting to me even first time around.

I prefer Gaydon and have yet to try Haynes museum.

That's a very good point, gets rid of the bloody 'Tourists' who dawdle & mill about without any sense of where they are going.

Forgot to mention another good place to go - Sammy Miller's museum at New Milton if you are into bikes.
