Another one bites the dust!

Way better than a real shed... With a real one I would have to drive somewhere, pay money then put the thing up. Van in yard was there already and paid for several years back. Best place to store engines too, far easier to load into another vehicle then lifting off the ground

Van sheds rock ballz! Here's mine loaded to the rafters with shite, doesn't need creosoting every year and is just a battery and squirt of laughing gas from easy relocation.post-5712-0-84146400-1471725049_thumb.jpg

The site of that exploded/exploding Escort van has made my day. Another one of the hateful things off the road.

And another one bites the dust....

I bought another Escort to replace this one. Off ebay. Looked tidy enough apart from the fact it was a decorators van so paint everywhere!

Drove fine but a bit ripe underneath. No hope of it passing another test without plenty of welding. However, 1 week away from the test expiring it decided to drop down to 3 cylinders. Carried on driving it for a few days and then just weighed it in. Got £120 though as it I filled it full of scrap.

Had a tidy up in the yard and decided to weigh the other one in as well!

When I was in the yard there was an 02 plate one there already, it looked quite tidy. Nothing to do with Red5?

So thats the last of the Escort vans for me now, they are all getting a bit rough underneath to bother with. I know for sure though that due to the Ford badge they will rocket in value and I shall kick myself.

Am running a Peugeot now with a DW8 in it and I hate every minute of it. With the high roof I feel like a dwarf.

Sorry no more photos of dead Escorts, although I kept a few bits....,
