More 2-wheeled shite

As most of you know I like all kinds of two-wheeled transport, but one of the things I've most wanted (I know, I'm a sick man) is one of Honda's wackiest 80s plastic spaceships, the Helix. And now I've got one! Technically it's not a Helix, it's actually an early imported one badged as a Fusion. It needs a new starter clutch, which will be about £70+VAT but it still has T&T and shouldn't need anything else to be ready for the road.

I'm so looking forward to the admiring glances I'll undoubtedly get from Harley riders, all I need now is a bigger garage :D

I saw one of those weird trikes today - 2 wheels at the front and one at the back and looking like an overblown scooter. Who makes them and are they as terrible to ride as they appear?

Was it this?

It's a Piaggio MP3. I've never ridden one but, despite its bizarre appearance, they're apparently very decent-handling machines.

Lovin' that Helix! A mate of mine had one about 20 years ago. Made my MTX look antique. Top find, top buy.

Did it fit IN the Disastra or did you use a trailer to fetch it home? Just want to know if the old girl is doing her job.......................

It could be a Piaggio MP3 or the Gilera Fuoco. Not too wide and good for attentionwhoring.

Still going strong Mr R, went to pick up a Yank camper with a mate (for him, sadly not me) from Kettering last Friday. He didn't believe it was full when we topped it up back home for £22, did the sums and it had done just over 58mpg! I'm going to get the Fusion next weekend and I'm pretty confident of getting it in the Astra, it's partially dismembered as you can see from the photos. I'll be on my own for this mission so I can lose the front seat for a bit of extra space too. But it's certainly getting the job done, a few weeks back we brought a spares 400 Burgman back from Kent in it!
