Collectioneering tool kit - suggestions?

Helps if there is a boot sale nearby for anything else I need....

Is that one of those electrical probes I see in there that connects to the battery and can supply 12v or ground?

 

Bought one a few months ago and it's paid for itself a hundred times over already!

It is, they are indispensable bits of diagnostic kit.

 

I'm thinking of getting one of these for the many times it would help to have a scope with me.

I was going to buy one of those or the equivalent PowerProbe when I bought my cheap one like your current one but I wasn't flush enough at the time and it was overkill for the specific job I had in mind
