blackbart Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 hi, i'm having a bit of a chod clearout and came across this kit ,which i got in a job lot of car spares a few years ago, i know i has something to do with diesel engines, maybe a service tool or something for injectors etc. as i currently run a diesel, is it something worth keeping, or is it worth selling ?i'm taking a guess someone on here know a hell of a lot more about diesels than me and can tell me?it looks to be made be kent-moore and says diesel care on the box and lid.cheers in advance. spike60 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 It looks like it's a generic injector cleaning kit.
blackbart Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 cheers mate, i was thinking along those lines, but wasn't too sure. i don't think i'll be using it myself then.
I_am_Diesel Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Yeah, I'd say cleaning kit for old skool injectors. Copper brush to clean but not damage the tips. Can't really remember what the other bits are for, nearly 30 years since I saw one on my mech's course.
sierraman Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Come in handy for overhauling common rail injectors. Not.
blackbart Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 cheers all. i think i'll put it on the wanted/offered forums to see if anyone wants it then.
