And is if by Magic The Shopkeeper Appears

I thought I'd be a clever bastard a few years back after a few days of prolonged sub-zero temperatures, and set to work "improving" my Ford Cougar, so that the washer jets wouldn't freeze up. I bought a long length of washer tubing, some connectors, and a short piece of even thicker washer tubing. I set-to, in freezing conditions, wrapping tubing around the top hose of the radiator a few times, and then routing it around the front of the car until it met up with the factory fitted washer tubing. Then I cable tied it all to the original tubing, and fashioned a sort of sump at the point just below where it was coiled around the radiator hose, so that it could circulate the almost neat coolant that I injected laboriously with a pipettes type thing I found in my garage. As the final few drops of coolant were added I hurriedly pushed the connector back together underneath a washer jet when I noticed some wires leading from it, and underneath the under bonnet sound insulation.

A quick look in the handbook revealed that some models had heated washer jets.

Arsebiscuits!

After that I decided to stop worrying about such things and just put any old Pound Shop shite or whatever in as washer fluid. Fate was only going to bite me on the arse anyway. It's cheap, so I don't dilute it much in winter, and I've never had any freeze up. Whether the car's got heated washer jets or not.

Normfest Frostex (-70C) is quite honking if used neat.

I shoved some of this Prestone blue in the car the other day:

Not all that honking for -23C stuff.
