Disposing of car batteries

I got £20 for six today off the local scrap bloke. he offered me £24 originally, then as the last one went in his car he said £20 because 'they're all a bit small'

 

I'm not arguing because I'm buying his car off him shortly, and you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be knocking some off the already agreed price.

 

And it'll probably have one of your old batteries on it.

 

Just saying like.

Discharge them first and they won't be an issue

 

 I don't think discharging them is the problem.
