Tell me about... Peugeot estates

But 405s are huge inside with the seats down.

Apart from Volvos or maybe a Cx or Xm I'm struggling to think of a bigger estate car.

You want a Galaxy or a Transit you do.

You're not wrong, but I'm just not ready for a galaxy yet!

I have a penchant for shifting 6ft freezers around. Volvo's they fit in, the current saab 9-5 they almost fit in - the bed is long enough, but the taper on the tailgate means you can't shut it completely. But saab provide a little tie hook to latch the gate down with a bit o' twine which is nice as it saves ripping the back windscreen wiper off.

The 405 less so. struggled with freezers with that one (always a choice between lose the wiper, or back screen, or both), and it also seemed a touch narrow compared to the 2 above.

I will try an e class when I'm feeling superior enough. They're mahoosive.

But, yes, it's not a small car.
