I don't think there's anything particularly sinister about it, I reckon he probably buys a load of old part-exchanges, sticks £50 on the price and waits for the phone to ring. If he does any more work than that with the prices he has them up at, he's mad.Still, if people are prepared to buy them, fair play to him I guess. I bet most of it is alright for the money, a 51-reg Corsa for £950 sounds like bad news but you get what you pay for.

There's a young chap round these parts does broadly the same thing, although his are all MOT'ed, which gives some peace of mind as there are no dodgy MOT's here in NI. He seems to be able to get his hands on an inexhaustable supply of W124 Mercs too.
