This familiar looking machine is going to be exported to the UK - its basically a reworked Spanish Santana, which is obviously derived from the Land Rover. Be interesting to see how well it does.

Massif Attak! I think I'll wait for the Chinese version of this Italo-Hispano-Anglico-shite, available in a few years probably.

Kool. Bottom line, how cheap is it going to be? Cos I'd be in the queue  Don't the Santana ones have a japnese engine rather than some Land Rover thing?

They have an iveco lump do they not? Runs on olivio + quatre stagioni pizza and tries to extort money from you once a week.

Someone did try selling Santanas in the UK four or five years ago. Zero marketing and the fact that 'dealers' were usually plant hire places made any form of success unlikely. The local Daihatsu place did have a go at getting some in when the Fourtrak was discontinued, but decided not to bother when they found out the cost and suggested retail prices...OK they were lower than a Defender, but not lower enough to justify a Spanish assembled leaf-sprung shitter instead of an Isuzu 4wd crew cab!

Thankfully it still has real springs. Leaves. No room in a proper 4WD for coils.
