Many thanks guys - much appreciated, great resurection by Trigger - to be honest due to work commitments I find it really difficult to keep this updated. Plus i've been working mostly on the Anglia which i've not really shared any info on the net (yet)

To answer the questions

 

Trigger - yes the wheel trims are binned, i've managed to source a brand new original set.

Marvinsmom - The Marina does attract great attention, yes you get the odd sarcatic comment manily linked to a muppet of a TV so called personalility! but on the whole it gets good comments and fond memories (perhaps through rose tinted specs but does it matter) And yes the dash is strange but i like that in an autoshite quirky sort of a way!!

Christine - Thanks for the offer but they wont suit the style of the Anglia - had they been Marina fitment thats a differant story!!

 

 

As for updates,pretty much all the fleet has had some work done, i'll share pics and story later when I have a little more time but as a summary.

Polo - I've gifted this to a friends daughter (I inherited it and it didnt seem right selling it on, shes over the moon and I know it will be looked after)

Subaru - bought some new rear shocks but done nowt else.

Anglia - MOT'd yeah first time in over 25 years that I know of.

AMC CUB - Thats the next major project, would like that on the road for next summer - lots done but again not shared.

L300 Camper - Fitted out the cupboards and bought a heater other than that not used.

Lancer - Just rebuilt the rear brakes/new CV boot and refurbed the wheels / new tyres.

Marina - Still has a stuck clutch - bugger, small bit of welding and thats ready. I wouldnt mind that as a winter hack. Just need to get my finger out.
