Was at a fashion show this evening (for work)

 

All the designs included elements of re-use etc-suscribing to at least some of the dedicated shiters principals.

 

Anyway, I digress.

 

Shortly after the actual show started, i happened to spy something that piqued my interest..

 

 

A red door with a fuchs silkolene sticker on it.

 

I was transfixed.what hqve you discovered in unlikely places?

I came across a load of old tax discs on the wall in the back room of a public library I visited.  Stuck on a filing cabinet with sticky plastic stuff.

 

Quite old too.  Someone could've retired if they'd flogged 'em on ebay.

One of those random flashback memory jerks just happened reading this thread.   When I was a little kid I fell over in the playground and was taken to the headmistress's office to be patched up.  As I tilted my head back for the nurse to pick the grit from my battered chin I happened to see a Husky Lancia Flaminia on top of a cupboard.  Guess what I asked for in Woolworths that weekend?  Still have it, too.

The Basildon branch of TGI Fridays has (had?) a load of old car and truck tail lights on one of its walls. Most of them once belonged to Fords and I was able to identify all of them:)
