How far do you commute?

My commute has changed since last I commented on this thread. My place of work has changed from Heathrow to Luton, so the journey's easier and quicker (only 25 miles each way). I can do the run in half an hour if I don't get stuck in too much traffic.

 

What's better I've partially retired, so I only work 2 days per week! The 5 day weekend is great!

Wakefield to killinghall (Harrogate) is my latest daily comute. 35 mile via A1 on a morning. 28 mile on an evening via single carriageway roads trying to avoid Harrogate traffic. Starting at 7am it's quicker to burn up the motorway and thru town than it is going the shorter route.

 

This jobs quite local to me at the minute, for my firm. Was doing York to Huddersfield before I moved house. What a royal pain in the cock that was.
