Manchester brand tractors

I saw a very old tractor today, badged as a Manchester. It is apparently from the late 20's. This one is fitted with a Ford model T rear axle to keep it going .  Does anyone know of them?

Looking at the above would suggest it's a Crossley which were made in Manchester, so would guess the 'Manchester' on the name plate is from the town it was made in.

Can't help with anything else sorry, I don't know anything about them I just tried a few different hits on Google.

Thanks corsavior, it seems from my googling that they were not a great success and only made for 3-4 years.

Stop giggling Tayne!!

The owner has a fleet of Fergusons and DB Cropmasters which are mostly still working on the property.
